The New Man In Japan

The New Man In Japan

Hey everybody,

It’s been about 3 months since I wrote my last post, The Man is no longer in Japan. I’ve moved on to various other projects, including my animation project to teach Japanese called Baka Desnay, which is really fun. I’ve also made some money fixing computers. (Those of you who know me will be completely unsurprised to learn that I’m avoiding any kind of normal boring job.)

I have fond memories of my time in Japan. I’ve kept in touch with some of my friends there, and I plan to go back someday. But for the immediate future, I’m here in America. That means that it’s time to pass the torch.

A friend of mine will be joining the blog soon. He’s also a college student heading out to Japan for the first time, just like I was almost one year ago when I started this blog. Beyond that, I’ll let him make his own introductions. Stay tuned for his first post.

As for me, I’m still hanging around. I’m still the admin on the blog, and I still have a couple of posts I intended to do awhile ago. (For instance,  I tutored English while I was in Japan, and I always meant to do a post about that.) So you may still see a few updates from me.

Thanks to everyone who ever read this blog. I hope you enjoy the new material from The New Man In Japan.

Sincerely, Jimmy

To those who may find this wayward comment…

I for one am excited that this site will be continuing on, and I thank Jimmy for starting up this site and for giving the readers some insight into Japanese society, culture, etc.

Here’s to a new beginning, like a phoenix rising from the ashes!

I’ve been reading your blog for the whole time. Although I’m sad you will not be posting any more, I’m very glad that this blog will not die. :D

Only 27 days to my trip. I feel like it can’t come fast enough.

Hey, thanks alot for reading my blog the whole time! Have fun on your trip; I look forward to hearing about it. Send me an email if you have any questions. (Though granted, most of the advice I would give is already on this blog…)

      Thanks again. =)
